I initially had a great leasing experience here and really liked my salesperson. Unfortunately, everything that followed has ensured I will never be a customer of Jim Ellis again.After leasing, I was bombarded with marketing emails. I unsubscribed several times, but the messages kept coming until I finally had to call to force them to stop. Later, I brought my vehicle in for a service appointment and had a very bad experience, which ultimately made me decide to take my leasing business elsewhere when my contract ended.Now that my lease is coming to an end, the nightmare has restarted. I have been subjected to a relentless barrage of multiple emails and texts from various salespeople. I repeatedly requested that they stop contacting me. One representative even went so far as to text me immediately after I sent a second explicit message demanding he stop. This has crossed the line from standard follow-up into targeted harassment and a complete failure to honor basic consumer boundaries.Last week, I sent a formal demand letter directly to the executive owners of the Jim Ellis Automotive Group detailing this cross-department communication failure and demanding my data be completely purged from their systems. I never heard a single word back. They obviously do not care how their local dealerships treat consumers.If you lease a car here, expect a great initial sales process followed by a poor service department and years of aggressive, unescapable spam that even corporate leadership won't step in to fix. I will be taking my business elsewhere and filing formal complaints with the BBB.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Ioniq 6 from Jim Ellis Hyundai and could not be happier with the the experience from my initial interaction with sales staff through the financing process. We discussed my being turn between the Ioniq 6 and another EV and I very much appreciated that Anya listened to what I had to say, offered comparisons and information, but never once said anything negative about the make and model I was considering. After purchase Anya reached out on multiple occasions to check in and see if there was anything else she could do for me. By far more polite and professional than sales staff I encountered at other dealership. Financing was easier than I thought it could be and was done remotely to save me another drive from Montgomery to Atlanta. Kirby walked me through everything step by step and financing came off with no issues and at a lower interest rate than what I had found on my own. To top it off, Jim Ellis then had the car delivered to me in Alabama. All of that said before getting to the car, which is Hyundai certified and in excellent condition. I'm four weeks in now and have nothing but positive things to say. Good price, comfortable, quiet, and coming in at a good bit over 4 miles per kwh average so far. I will highly recommend Anya and Jim Ellis to friends and family.

Took our Tucson in for service. The service rep was nice and friendly but I was not confident that my issues with the car would get handled properly. They fixed the car and so far seems fine. The problem I had with Jim Ellis service was it’s near impossible to get someone on the phone. Rarely did I get a call back. Just a text message. The communication from the service department was either nonexistent or very lacking. But they did fix the car when it was all said and done—so there’s that.

We had a very nice, no pressure experience at Jim Ellis Hyundai two weeks ago in the purchase of a new car. Our Salesperson Miranda Rodriguez was awesome! She presented options on different models and answered all of our questions with absolutely zero pressure. When the time came, she handled the negotiations very well and we feel that we received a very fair deal on the car. Anya Crawford was awesome. My fiancé found her on tik tok and she got us everything we wanted and needed. She didn’t push just anything on us. I went in just looking for something affordable but walked out with that on a brand new 2026 Kona. I would recommend her and the rest of the staff to anyone.

Update: I got clear and transparent communication today. The part that is needed is back ordered, but I was able to get a rental car until then. They heard my frustion and course corrected, which not many other companies are willing to do. Extremely disappointing experience. Communication has been awful from the start — they only contacted me after I reached out multiple times with no response. My car has been in their possession since the 1st, and it’s now the 21st with no real progress or transparency. I was not informed that I was eligible for a rental car with Hertz after 10 days, well after the 10 day mark. That alone caused unnecessary inconvenience and expense. What makes this worse is that it feels like I’ve just been strung along, while they seemingly knew early on that the issue with my electric car was the ICCU, as is seems to be a major issue with Ioniq 5s. My experience with the car and the handling of the repairs many of the videos I have found online about this issue. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and zero sense of urgency. From my experience, I would not recommend this dealership if you expect clear answers or timely service.

Sifat is the G.O.A.T. Stayed with me for the whole process and I was in get through Japan back to the states and the car was still here. His service was awesome and I am grateful for having his help. Dude you are a rockstar
