The Hyundai Santa Fe towing capacity reaches a maximum of 4,500 pounds2 in the XRT trim with trailer brakes. For all other models with trailer brakes, the Santa Fe can tow up to 3,500 pounds.2 Without trailer brakes equipped, the towing capacity is limited to 1,650 pounds2 across the board.
